Based on a recent report by Share Our Strength, a national organization dedicated to ending childhood hunger, teachers see the unfortunate effects of childhood hunger in the classroom everyday.
65% of America's teachers regularly see kids who are hungry because they aren't getting enough to eat at home. Many of these teachers buy food with their own money to compensate.
